The wireless remote comes backed by a 1-year limited warranty. Small and sleek, the Wireless remote has an integrated magnet so you can attach it to a refrigerator, or you can store it in the integrated slot on the Zune dock. Despite its small size, the button layout lets you easily hold and operate the remote with one hand. The buttons on the wireless remote have the same controls as the Zune, so navigating through menus and media lists is easy and intuitive. Now, if only it came in Brown or White.Ĭlick Here to see more reviews about: Zune Wireless Remote for Zune Dockĭesigned exclusively for use with the Zune Dock (sold separately), the Zune wireless remote gives you quick access to your current playlist and full control over menu navigation and volume. It also has the same "soft" feeling the Zune device has, and like the Zune, is pretty scratch resistant. The remote does what it needs to, and pretty well overall. Maybe that's just me, though.īut, I digress. When I use it in my Car, I sometimes have to point the remote directly at the Dock to get any response. Twin bass-enhanced neodymium speakers really do the trick. And it delivers such full-range, full-bodied sound, you'll want to carry it around from room to room. It's sleek - your Zune will cradle beautifully in it. The IR range doesn't seem to be that good. The inMotion iM414 is a powerful new portable stereo system with surround effect technology. So, you actually don't really have to use the buttons if you don't want to. Now, even though the buttons are (in my humble opinion) placed oddly, the d-pad on the remote mimmicks the one on the Zune device spot-on. I still have yet to figure out what they do. Also, the two volume up/down buttons toward the button of the remote don't actually control the volume on the Zune. It takes some getting used to, and the two "skip track" buttons are even higher up then said back and play buttons, which is even more out of the way. The back button and play buttons are over the "d-pad", instead of on the sides of it like the Zune device itself. To me, the buttons seem like they are placed a tad oddly. It's small, but not too small to where it could innevitably annoy you. ( More customer reviews)First off, size wise it's about half the size of the Zune itself in just about every way.
